The Noisy Island publishes work by high-school age writers in poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, and music.  We currently define “high-school age” as graduates of or projected graduates of the Class of 2016- Class of 2020.  Our editors have very diverse and eclectic tastes, so feel free to send almost anything in these categories.  We have only a few restrictions:

Please do not send us work that has been published elsewhere, and, yes, that includes a blog, Twitter, or Facebook.  First love can only happen once. 

Feel free to send us simultaneous submissions, but please let us know if the work has been accepted elsewhere.

 All writing must be in .doc, .docx., or .rtf format.  All songs must be .mp3.
